This fence seems too high on the bottom; but he has not yet finished grading since waterproofiing needs to happen first.  We wanted 2" space below fence so in case add mulch, it will accomodate it.   Eric says that he measured for 2" space on the east side and then to make the fence level on the top, it is 8"(though less when graded) on west side.   I realized that my neighbor to the south raised his grade in that corner aobut 4" (probably to stop Bev's water), so that confuses grade too.  He is planning to add 2-3" of pebbles here.  I hope he is planning to add so that top of pebbles are where grade should be (and not 2-3" above grade).  Isn't that how it should be?  Note height in #9 and #8 - difference now vs before.  I still think it's about 3" too high outside my future studio windows.  Do you think that extra 3" will cut down on the light that I get inside?
